Kansas State University (also known as K-State) is a rather large college in the small town of Manhattan, Kansas. K-State is very large and beautiful. K-State is an older college with many old and beautiful elements such as tall, beautiful white columns and broad staircases and entryways. The campus houses the biggest library you can imagine. This library is several stories high with many columns and a grand entryway. The shelves are so tall, they touch the ceiling. Each shelf loaded with as many books as it can hold. There is one part of this library I feel like I can’t leave: the study room. This room has ceilings that seem to touch the sky. At almost the ceiling, there are clear glass windows to let the light through. Even though K-State has many old building and architectural details, the population is mainly young college students. The young college students add the life and vitality to the beautiful buildings.
