Explain whether you think Arthur is a chivalrous king, and tell two qualities from your Code of Chivalry that he shows or doesn't show.
I think King Arthur was a chivalrous king. Some of his chivalrous qualitys (qualities) are braveness, hummility (humility), understanding, and fairness. A few of the chapters that show his qualitys (qualities) are "The Rightful King of the Britons," and "The City of Dreams" and "Sword of Legend."
Arthur shows hummility (humility) in "The Rightful King of the Britons." Everybody is whispering and soon booing him. Even though he feels humiliated, he does pull the sword from the stone.
Arthur shows fairness in "The City of Dreams" and "Sword of the Legend." The story says "Every day he dealt with justice, high or low." One day Arthur even let a man who was trying to kill him live. Those are some true examples of fairness.
When Arthur says "I will be a true king, fair and just, as long as I may live," I think he means he will punish the evil, protect the weak and poor, and last, make things fair. In my oppinion (opinion) King Arthur really does keep his promise. I think he does because he is just and fair, he always keeps his word and does his duty.
