One of my happiest times ever was going to "Walt Disney World" for the first time. It felt like I was everywhere at once. It felt like I was in a storybook. We went there in celebration of Dad coming back.
I stepped off the plane nervously. Once my foot touched solid ground, I felt my excitement bubble out of my head. I couldn't wait! Once I realized how big the huge amusement park was, I got excited. We had to take a bus to get to each part. I couldn't wait for tomorrow to come to have fun.
The next morning at Magic Kingdom, I wanted to go on and discover every ride. Joseph and I ran Mom, Dad, and baby Kath all over the park. We wanted to try everything. (I'm not sure Mom and Dad wanted to go everywhere though!) Magic Kingdom is my favorite park.
We went to all four parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Movie, and Animal Kingdom. We sent Mom to go around Epcot. Joseph and I were exhausted by the end of every day. I really enjoyed going on Splash Mountain for the first time. It was a roler coaster. You float in a log and go up and down, weeeeeeeeeeeeeee! It was a ton of fun.
I had the best time at Walt Disney World than anywhere I've ever been! It was the best. I would never forget. I also had some souveniers: a pair of pink mouse ears, a Jasmine doll, and all the autographs. It was my happiest, best experience. Joseph and I really knew why they call it "the place where dreams come true." It really felt like it at the end of this vacation!

Settling in!
We are finally here! Our new home is in Sierra Vista, Arizona! Small town about an hour southeast of Tucson, and about an hour north of the Mexican border. Funnies thing I've learned so far is that two best restaurants in our town are the German bakery and the Greek place. But it does have a lot more restaurants, and a bit more shopping than Manhattan.
We rented a house on the east side of town, near the Wal-Mart. It's a little bit more than 1500 square feet - almost 600 feet bigger than our house on Fort Riley. And I have a kitchen with an island (SWEET!!), and a huge master bedroom with a master bathroom (no more sharing with the kids) and a walk-in closet. AHHHHHHHH!!
We received our household goods on Monday of this week, and have been unpacking since then. Whew!!! 8 million decisions to make, what goes where, where is this thing, and keeping my munchkins doing their school work too. And happily, I got my brain (computer) back and set up. We were able to get our rooms, linens, and the kitchen unpacked in only 3 days. I even cooked our first dinner at home last night - Rosemary Chicken and mashed potatoes. Yummy! Thank goodness I found my cookbooks pretty early in the unpacking. I even got to Target and picked up the candles to go into the candlesticks and a vacuum cleaner too.
Definitely don't go into the garage yet--- YIKES it's a mess! But thankfully, nothing is broken or missing and we're happy to be settled again.
John is working for the Border Patrol in the office. He is really enjoying it, very similar to the work he did in Iraq.
I'll post some pictures soon (well, as soon as I find my camera).
I'm definitely enjoying the sunny, warm weather and beautiful views!
